Prabowo Will Continue Political Lobbying After Becoming President Elect

The meeting with the legal team was attended by vice presidential candidate Gibran Rakabuming Raka; Daily Chair of Gerindra Party Sufmi Dasco Ahmad; Chair of the Prabowo-Gibran Legal Team, Yusril Ihza Mahendra; and other advocates. On the agenda, the legal team reported and submitted the results of the Constitutional Court's decision regarding the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) dispute.

We will start working to communicate politically with all elements where we will try to build a strong, effective coalition.

According to Prabowo, his legal team has fought and worked hard to uphold the status of the candidate who received the most votes in the 2024 Presidential Election. The next step is to ensure that political opponents and the public come back together.

"The match has ended, there is already a decision (from the Constitutional Court), the people now hope to demand unity, work for the interests of the nation and the people, I think that's it," said Prabowo.

Meeting the Nasdem elite

Before meeting with his legal team, Prabowo first met with Deputy Chairman of the Nasdem Party, Ahmad Ali. Their meeting was held in private for half an hour. It is not yet certain what was discussed during their meeting.

When asked about the topic of discussion, Ali said he congratulated Prabowo. "Agree to chat with Pak Dasco and Pak Prabowo. Just give congratulations," he said.

According to Ali, his visit to Prabowo's residence was as an individual and not representing the Nasdem Party or supporters of the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair. The meeting took place without permission or informing the Nasdem Party Chairman, Surya Paloh.

In essence, Ali continued, the meeting did not discuss anything related to politics, including Partai Nasdem's efforts to join the Koalisi Indonesia Maju.

When separately met, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad did not clearly reveal the discussion between Prabowo and Ali who met suddenly. However, he asked the public to wait for one to two days because there will be a surprise.

"Come here to discuss a few things, and wait for a day or two to see. Therefore, just wait for a day or two," said Dasco.

According to Dasco, there was no agreement reached in the meeting between Prabowo and Ali. However, news in the next one to two days is certain to bring joy to both parties.

In addition, according to Dasco, the upcoming days will be a big meeting arena between political party elites. This is inseparable from Prabowo's efforts to embrace political opponents.

"We will see that statement on that day because I do not want to preempt what will be conveyed by the general chairpersons of the parties," said Dasco.
